Injury is all too prevalent in action sports, from something small that might take you out for a couple of weeks, to a major injury that ends your season and leads to months of rehab working to get better, to injuries that end careers or even lives. Not being able to participate in something you love can also be difficult mentally and it’s easy to get down as you push through the pain and the rehab to get back to where you were. Being injured is a difficult place to be, but as you go through the recovery the light at the end of the process starts to be visible as progress is made.
